Infinity

tracing the lines of the infinity sign over and over again seemed simple, but how long can you do it for without falling off the track? if you went on for your whole life, how would it go? ‘how long’ was the question. 8 seconds? 8 minutes? 8 hours? 8 days? 8 weeks? 8 months? 8 years? 8 decades? 8 centuries? 8 millenniums? 8 eons? 8 lifetimes? but what would all the hard work for? all for the world to keep spinning.

Reincarnation (Miracle) ii

But is this really enough to entertain this young sorcerer? Was it all really necessary? Just for his imagination run wild that his stories became reality? Why did the fairytale side characters have to go through whatever hard times that were featured in the story? Why did they have to go through all that trouble? All for ‘Prince’ Rey. Could everything be turned around with a sorceress?

Rey walked back to his apartment and unlocked the door. He stepped into the room.
“Hey. You. Prince Rey. Turn around. Your Highness requests your presence.” A girl said haughtily with her hands on her hips.
“I’m not going back.” Rey said without turning around or flinching in surprise.
“You’re gonna have to, I’m afraid. You’re supposed to be crowned King next month. Ye’ see, your dad kind of went away, and your mom gave up and wants you to take his spot and look for him until she thinks he is dead and will never come back. So, get on this damn carriage and we’re getting outta here.”
“… No.”

As you can see, things are getting a little hard for Prince Rey. He’s trying to get back at his desk to continue writing this little tale but there is this girl that’s kind of really persistent to get him back to his ‘parents’, and he has no idea where she came from or how she got into his story.

“Come on. We ain’t got all day. Are you getting on? If you’re not, I’m going to report back to the castle and tell your mom that you were assassinated, and double the burden on her shoulders, unless, you don’t give a care. Well?” The messenger said, tilting her head a bit.
Cornered, Rey sighed.
“Alright. I’m coming, just let me pack.”

Obviously, you see Prince Rey in an uneasy situation in which his real identity is almost revealed to the messenger. In reality, he doesn’t really care, because, he knows there wouldn’t be anyone conscious to be in his ‘beautiful’ tragic fairytale in which he is the perfect prince. The Queen is just a character in a storybook. But this messenger is very suspicious and seems to have a consciousness. But is she actually to be suspected to be doing suspicious?

“Alright, Crown Prince, we’re leaving now… Aren’t you going to bid the town good-bye?” The messenger asked.
“… They don’t need to know yet about my crowning until the news arrives to this stinky- excuse me- beautiful town. It might be hard for them to take in.”

That’s right. Rey here, hasn’t written a bit to this little story, so, he doesn’t know how the townspeople will react, because they could all be conscious people, just entranced by his spell for turning people into important characters in the stories he writes. He didn’t write that the Queen wanted him. That’s why he is suspicious and on guard because he knows there is another author in this story that can change/ruin his story, so he has decided to find the author and stop the person, female or male. Can he do anything to turn his story around?

BAM!!!
“My deepest apologies, Your Highness. The carriage has seems to hit a large rock and the wheel is broken. This happened because the horses were bitten by mosquitoes and flinched at the sight of more. Your Highness, I advise you keep the windows closed as we try to repair the broken wheel. Please accept our apologies, we are working our hardest to keep Your Highness comfortable. If you could wait a bit, I’ll be back to check on Your Highness.” The messenger bowed down and left.
“I have time to write!!” Rey thought, and took out his book and a fountain pen and started to write as fast as he could.

Why did the carriage crash at a large rock? Because when Rey was packing, he wrote a bit about his trip there to provide a bit of time for himself to write a little longer. But when will be the next time will write is story? What if the author of this fairytale butts in again and makes the story more tragic than it was, by getting rid of it’s maker, the side character, the Crown Prince Rey.

The repair took longer than planned so Rey wrote more until…
“Your Highness? Are you quite alright? May I ask what you may be doing?” The messenger asked.
“…I’m writing my daily diary.” He smiled softly, but it seemed very bitter.
“I know that’s a lie, Your Highness.”

Reincarnation (Miracle) i

It was supposed to be a small circle of life. But it turned into something that was everlasting, not really possible. yet it happened.

In a small town in a large kingdom, the streets were bustling with noise, along every lane, street, and shop, it was busy with tourists and townspeople. But along the small road off on the side there was a dark shut-up apartment. And like every other day, it was undisturbed. It was always calm and quiet in that area. No one really knew if it was occupied. Nobody wanted to go there either, because curiousity killed the cat. But nobody knew that satisfaction would bring it back.

See? It’s all in a circle; it dies, but then something important will bring back to its feet. Will it ever have another chance to check it out? If it’s curiousity came back with it. But will satisfaction bring it back again?

BAM!! The door to the dark apartment building flew open. Out came a teenage boy with bright turquoise hair, wearing a pair of long black pants, a blank purple tank top, and womanly grey boots. He brushed back a lock of hair and sighed.
“Haven’t been out here for quite a while! Been busy with scripts. Ahh. Let’s go shopping!” He cheerfully exclaimed to his cat which had padded out beside him. He stepped back into his little apartment and took a grey cloak and swung it over his shoulders and slipped it on.
“Oh, Tigerr, you want a small cloak? Here.” He put on a miniature cloak on his cat, Tigerr.
“Let’s GOOOO!!”

Never judge a book by its cover. That is commonly said by book enthusiasts, owners, and authors/illustrators. It may look dirty from the outside but inside, it might as well be a treasure. This young man has been holed up in this little apartment, all alone with his little cat, and is not seen often and is a genius author. He writes novels in complete silence. Is it really true that he has no other connections in this little kingdom?

“It’s him!” “Really?” “He’s out!” “We should go and check if he’s still handsome…” “Are you crazy?” “It’s Prince Rey!” “WE TOWNSMEN AND TOWNSWOMEN ARE VERY INDEBTED TO YOU, OUR GREAT PRINCE!” The townspeople all paid their respects to the young man whom was shopping for groceries (now identified as Prince Rey).
“Eh? Oh, right. I’m a prince. Don’t forget that. You take a large part in this little tragic story.
(He’s whispering) Townsmen, townswomen, thank you for taking me in to this wonderful town. This place has the best view of the world. It’s all thanks to the people here whom created this place.” Rey bowed deeply to the townspeople who had cried out to him earlier.
“Don’t thank us!! It’s only right for the Crown Prince to be accepted into all of his very own towns throughout the kingdom.”
“Thank you.” Prince Rey thanked mockingly.
“Hahahaaaha!”

SO, Prince Rey’s duty here is to be an author of a story. He is the author of the kingdom. To put it simpler, he is the one that created this town, this kingdom and made it real. He put his magic powers together to make something interesting to entertain himself with. But is this really enough to entertain this young sorcerer?

I’m going to make this into a series this is rather interesting to me, also, the story relates to nothing I’m interested right now, so yeah. Music kind of inspires. Kind of. You could sense the sarcasm if I was talking. Like this one song reminds me of royalty stuff, and another song reminds me of storytelling/writing. Well, the next one is coming up sometime later.

Hey you

Hello there! After a while I decided that I’m going to stop my story. Why don’t I ever finish my stories? Because after a while, I think that the story idea is a little too close to something I’ve seen before so ummm. For those how would’ve ACTUALLY WANTED to read my stuff and ideas, … well, I wouldn’t know. I don’t really have much confidence. Kinda. At least I did this blog thing. Maybe because………………….
Alright! I’ll try a one-shot then. See you then!

Counterclockwise – 1:00 a.m.

Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock… Tock tick. Tock tick. Tock tick. Tock tick….

The hands on clock started to spin around around, slow at first, but then, it turned faster, until you could see it no longer. The world began to spin, not allowing you to see your surroundings. Where, exactly, were you?
The hands on the clock stopped, and started to spin the other way. What made it do that? All that didn’t do well. But all the facts would soon spin together. Some day.

Splish! Splash! Splash! Sploosh! The rain came down in buckets, and splashed into the puddles on the side of the sidewalk.
“Hey, you. Yeah you in the purple coat. Stop splashing in the puddles. You’re getting it everywhere. Watch it, okay?” A voice came from behind a girl in the the said coat.
She turned around. “Okay. Sorr-!”
“Huh? Anything wrong?”
“No. I’m sorry.” She rushed away, and down the sidewalk.
“Why is he here? He shouldn’t be alive! This is! IMPOSSIBLE!”

The girl reached a run-down and abandoned toy factory called ‘The Smiling Doll Factory’, and she sat down on a large piece of the building that had once belonged in the building as a wall. She stared deep into the rubble, and the dirt began to move away from where she was staring, and a bright light shone from a hole she had just dug from the rubble. The light soon died down and in the hole, there was a bright coloured stone.
“What… what is this?!”

In some bushes around the factory, there was a boy with binoculars, looking at the girl.
“What… what is this?!” The girl cried out.
The boy turned on his phone, dialed a phone number.
Beep… Beep… >click!< “Hello?” The boy asked.
“Hello, Fersxa residence.”
“It’s Zel. Tell the miss that it has started. Thanks.”
“Of course. Please be careful on your way back.”
Beep! >click<
Zel, said boy, smiled and hugged his phone against his chest. He looked back at the girl.
“We shall see m’darlin’, we shall see.”

~~~~~~~~12321~~~~~~~~
The girl dug her nose into her scarf and knocked on a mansion’s front door. She waited for a response. Soon enough, the door opened.
“Ah! Well isn’t it my favourite niece! My my, your soaking! Do come in! Yes! We’ll get you dried off. Here, I’ll hold onto your things until you want to go back, alright? It’s okay; what’s wrong?” A tall woman in her mid-30’s led the girl in. One of the many maids throughout the Victorian-styled manor brought the girl a towel to dry off with.
“Thanks…”
“So, darlin’. Little darlin’ Delle. What’s wrong today?” The lady that brought ‘Delle’ inside, was her aunt.
“Well, you know how sometimes I go crazy at night and my parents aren’t even aware, and I kill people against my will, but I see everything, but I don’t even know what I’m doing..? Anyways, I saw a man I’ve seen myself kill before, earlier today. I don’t really know. Then, I sensed a dangerous aura around the man, like he’s not human. I really don’t understand, Aunt Bel, HELP ME.”
“Woah! Desperate much. Well, your story is quite interesting, on that side, I’ll give you a discount. Only $8.00 now. Okay…. Well, I’ll tell you anything. Lay it on me!”
“Thanks. Well, I told you most of the parts, but there was this other time, after I saw the supposedly dead man, I went to the abandoned factory to clear my head. I was staring into the rubble and then the rubble began to clear a path down into the ground, underneath it all was a large round stone or jewel. I brought it with me. Here.” Delle dug around her bag and took a out the stone.
“Oh my! I’ve seen old manuscripts about a mysterious rock that is bright and sparkling, that is only found by a person who possess’ a terrible power. To tell the truth I already knew you had powers. And so do your parents. They were the ones that put the powers in you. Amazing, right? They produced a kind of air that was made from ancient souls and artifacts, and had it put into a room full of that kind of air, and placed you in there when you were 1 year old. I was a little bit… um… associated with that project. We called it ‘The Power  Experiment’. Surprising, huh? Anyways, your parents are VERY aware about your powers, also, from this stone, I can only tell you that your power development is increasing rapidly. I advise you to not get too angry, too emotional, or you might rampage in the day. Delle?”
“… Aunt Bel, you do know that when I rampage at night, I get more emotional in the day each time I go; how will I survive?”
“Hmmm…. Oh! I have a great idea. How about you live with me until you can control your powers and hire a home tutor. That way, no one will get in your way except us. We’ll calm you down in some way if you get to agitated. I’ll have the tutor know about your powers. No, I’ll get a very reliable tutor that I already know. Yosh. Oh right, we need to get your parents approval. We’ll go right now!”
“But Aunt Bel, I just arrived!”
“It’s fine, the faster things get done, the longer you can stay with me!!!! Okay. Get your stuff. We’re leaving in 4 minutes.”
“Yes, Aunt Bel…”
HEYYYYYYYY TTHHHHEREEEEEE. I’m back. I wrote this for 3 days. Why? Because for the past 3 days I got a little bored of typing after 200 or so words. Anyways, this story up there will be continued. You know, one of those weird series I write that tend to get a little off track. Um, the story is 924 words long. The whole post is 987 words long.
The Gramphone 9 ~~END~~
The next day came quicker to Shirai than Captain. Captain had to find a place to live, and he had to fit in with the other merchants. He was planning to run a tea house for the rest of his life. But he had to find a place to have his tea house. He had asked the nearby AWAKE people if a area was free for a shop. The people had said there was a large flat that was stacked with bricks for only a little bit of money. It was said to be near the Mysterian capital which was only 4 blocks away. Captain had ran with his inhuman speed to find the brick shop.
Eventually, before midnight, he found it. He looked at it, he inspected every corner of it. He ran- no he flew to the manor of the governor. He had morphed back, and knocked on the door.
As every noble/important family would have, a butler would open the door. And the governor was no different.
“State your business.” The butler had said with a calm tone.
“Buying an area near the shopping square.”
“This way.”
Captain had followed the butler to the governor, and the governor and he talked about the area. The governor let him immediately and he had bought it for free. Then he left. He stayed in the open, the streets. Just for the night.
It was morning, and Captain found himself covered in water. It must’ve been raining throughout the night. Captain stood up, and jumped around getting the rain off his cloak. After that, he ran to the palace to inform Shirai.
“Eh! Prince Shirai! I now live in that brick tea house, and I will run a tea house there. You can visit if you want to. Can I take some of the chairs and tables from the basement?” Captain asked once he saw Shirai, and boy was he out of breath!
Shirai didn’t hesitate to let Captain the needed material.
“Fredsin! Take them into the old tea house!”
Captain patted his hands onto his dirty princely pants. Everything was perfect. The tea house had employees, and the employer working with them. He needed to know how to live like a normal status citizen. Fredsin the butler that now served Shirai helped tremendously. They lifted the tables and chairs and organized them in the large open space. It looked grand. Too grand for the little town. But the tea house spread over. It was expanded. The old brick space stayed, but there was marble halls and rooms for arranged and private tea rooms. There was a bar that was always reserved for His Majesty, the Most High of Grand West, Shirai.
Captain looked around. It was a working day, but no one had shown up except for 3 people. People had just begun to pile into the tea house but there was nobody to serve them. Yet. Captain called one of the three, and told him to call the others as fast as he could. The man nodded and shot off. There was only two of them, and Captain. He looked at them and they formed a plan. And them they took off to the assigned tables and rooms.
The man came back all battered up and beat up. Captain rushed over to him, and immediately asked what had happened. He groaned out the story. The other workers were mad that he had called them up early for no reason, so they beat him up. He tried to explain His Majesty was coming for tea. But then the beat him off. Captain rubbed his face, and then he told the man to clean up and try to serve the people. Captain then dashed to the houses calling the employees to get to the tea house immediately, and yelling why were they slacking off. They jumped up and changed immediately, and dashed after the former Majesty, asking for forgiveness. But he was too fast. He had run off with his inhuman speed. When they arrived, the Majesty had arrived and was waiting in bar for service.
Captain entered the bar. Shirai smiled when he saw Captain.
“Hello. I’m sorry I’m late. My employees were slacking off not knowing today was a work day. Anyways, what do want today? Plestik Shakc?”
“Sure.” Shirai grinned boyishly. Captain stood up and walked through the open doorway.
Aloud whirring sound was heard from the doorway. Captain was making a cold tea shake. Shirai looked at Fredsin. Fredsin nodded, and walked through the open doorway which was originally intended for employees only.
“M’lord? When is His Majesty going to have you arrive tonight?” Fredsin asked quietly from the doorway. Captain swung his head around, his hair flying around and whipping his face.
“Fredsin! I believe you can read. This is employees only area. And the time I arrive will be… I think around 8:45 q.z.” Captain shooed him out.
“Shirai. Your Plestik Shakc is all ready! Hold on for a second!” Captain yelled out, and miraculously, he came out one second later holding a blue Plestik Shakc. Shirai looked at him uncertainly.
“Ehm… Captain, what are we doing today for the lesson tonight?” Shirai asked, feeling small all of a sudden. He didn’t know why but he felt like he was the small abandoned child he was when he went to school.
Captain looked up towards the ceiling and thought for a second.
“We’ll be reviewing the attack side, and we’ll look over the recent territory test you took. If we have time, we’ll practice your swordsmanship. Does that sound good to you?” Captain searched Shirai’s face for agreement.
Shirai nodded slowly not knowing what to say. He didn’t know why Captain was being so nice to him.
“Hey. You’re not much for words today. Somethin’ wrong?” Captain asked with a bit of slang. He’d picked it up from some of the foreign merchants or clients recently to fit in a bit more.
Shirai looked up at him, and cowered a bit. “Uh-uhm, ah, no…” He stuttered out.
He looked away. Well, yes, there was something. There were lords and earls going to his house daily with their daughters for his hand, only to be rejected. One lady and her daughter went as far as complimenting his bottom and pinching it. It was a act of a woman, he shouldn’t of minded it, but he did. He slapped her hand away harshly, then a second later he apologized. But she burst into tears. Fredsin had cleared things up, and the lady and her daughter began to come to his palace daily again. He rubbed his temple and sighed in annoyance from just thinking about it. Captain didn’t question him about the sigh, but he took it as it was from the jobs and papers for the prince/king.
It was 9:00 q.z. already and Captain had not arrived yet. Shirai had Fredsin call his tea house, but only the manager for the tea house answered the device. Shirai sighed once again. He got up; he had decided that he go out and look for him. He put on a warm fur and leather jacket. He then slipped on a pair of red boots quite similar to the cat’s boots. He ran out, his hair swishing out behind him. He ran with normal speed, looking side to side. Then he sped up, people one meter behind him would be grazed in the face by his hair. His hair all of a sudden turned a bright colour. Lime green. It started at the tips of his hair. Captain’s hair was tipped neon pink, and some of his hair was dirty blonde. Shirai, in this case had the tips of his hair lime green and some or the rest was the same chestnut brown, streaked with lime green. It was same to all royals. Colours of their eyes, hair, and skin were all slightly different. He still ran. Finally, he sensed Captain. He ran towards where he thought Captain was. There running, was Captain dying his hair purple and he was running fast towards Shirai. Captain wasn’t looking, and then he crashed into Shirai.
The impact was big since they were both speeding. The fell back onto the ground with a loud thump.
“What are you doing?”
“What do you mean? I’m getting my hair done because I have a party to attend after the lesson, but after the lesson I would not have any time. So I was trying to hurry getting over, and do you know that your hair is turning lime green?”
“WHAT?! My hair is green?”
“Don’t waste time! We need to get over to get our lesson over with!”
They scrambled up and ran with their inhuman speed towards the palace. They arrived in no time. Obviously. The two went in, and was greeted by his butler maids, and a cook.
“Welcome back, m’lord!”
Shirai greets back with a nod. Captain smiles politely, but they both don’t notice that Captain’s eyes are shining brightly. Shirai led Captain up into Shirai’s study.
“We shall begin today’s lesson with…”
2 years later…
“Shirai! Hey! What’s going on with you and Cryssie? And, I forgot, where’s the wedding? I’m rather forgetful. So, where?”
“Hello, Captain! Eh? Um, it takes place at Glyde Park, and the cathedral beside it. I reserved it. Oh, and by the way, Cryssie is here today. We’ll have dinner around here. See if you can find us. We’re going to have tea today. Care to join us?”
“Ah. Umm, sorry, but I can’t. Gotta work.”
“Oh, right. Thanks, and sorry for all the trouble.”
“Umm, it’s okay. Uh, looks like we need more to serve. I should get going.”
Shirai sighed. Like Captain, he propped his head up with his hand. All this paperwork. He just wanted to stack it up, wrap it up and throw it into the fireplace. Argh. He was ready to rip his hair out. But he loved his hair so he didn’t. Shirai sat up and leaned onto the back of his unique chair. It was a normal turning chair. It could turn into a kart. It could turn into a table, it could turn into wheel chair. It could even turn into a sword. A huge sword, the blade was metal, and it was decorated with blue swirls on the blade. The handle was bronze, decorated with gold thread. It was legendary, of course, because it was made by a mysterious prince.
Shirai stood up and paced the room. His wedding was tomorrow. He didn’t know which personality to put up. Captain had the little student personality. Cryssie had the protective personality. To his subjects it was the brave hero personality. To his pawns, he put the big boss personality. Shirai didn’t know which face to put up. He was nervous.
That night after his dinner, he sat on his chair back facing the door. He was looking outside the open window. It was coldish, but with a warm breeze. His hair was blowing slightly. He was thinking, still, about which personality he should put. All of a sudden he thought of something. ‘Hey! I should make a totally different face this time. Like a happy and glad face. Yeah, that’s it! I should do that!’  Shirai practiced it a couple of times, and then he got up and went to bed.
It was the wedding night. Shirai was fiddling with the long sleeves on the traditional groom’s outfit. The sleeves resembled the sleeves on a kimono, but longer and thin. It was long like a kimono too. The bride’s outfit looked like the groom’s, but it had a train that was one meter long trailing behind the bride. Well, the groom’s bottom part of the attire was skimming the ground. He had to go. It was time for the party to begin.
The wedding night was the last time Shirai saw Captain. He didn’t know what happened, but they never met again. They had arranged a date, but he never arrived. No one ever saw him again, and the manager for his tea house continued the job for him. No one knew a thing.
_____________________________________________________________________________
Somewhere faraway…
Captain sat down on a rock. He knew he had to run away. He knew he would turn monstrous. It was frightening. A normal royal, turning into a bloodthirsty, vermin. Well, he couldn’t call himself vermin. He’d just have to feed on animal blood. Not humans. Captain ran a hand through his now too long hair. He sighed. People might’ve thought it was his hobby since he sighed a lot. He didn’t care anymore. Just the scent of blood… Made him drool. He shook his head. This can’t be happening! A nearby deer trotted by. Captain’s head snapped up, and his eyes turned silver and it was shining brightly, what made him more frightening was the way he was baring his newly grown fangs. He ran with his inhuman speed and circled his prey. The deer looked around with no emotion when it heard a rustle of leaves. When it found nothing, it snorted and went back to munching on whatever was munching on. Captain smirked in the shadow. Then he dashed at the deer and sank his fangs into the poor animal. The animal made out a strangled groan and then it fell back, dead. Captain licked his fangs, and swallowed the remains of blood.
‘That should last me for a little while.’
Deer Found Dead Deep In Forest: Unknown Teeth Marks
Hiker Grifod was hiking in the forest, hoping to find a rare flower, when he found a dead deer lying near a bush. He searched it’s body for a wound, and there was a mark, a mark like a snake’s fangs; two holes. It resembled a Vatyre, but they were extinct for nearly a century. If you know something about it please contact us…
Slap! Captain slapped the newspaper down on the table in rage. Not at the Humans, but at himself. He’d caused worry in his own kingdom because of his race, and what he eats. If he lets people know he’s a Vatyre, they would put him with other animals to let Humans see and study. He snapped, and a black shadow emerged from the curtains. It was a rare creature, and it only listened to Vatyres. It was a Demyre. Captain named the Demyre, Vinph.
“Vinph, get me lamb blood soup before it clots.”
That night…
Vinph looked around in case it’s ‘master’ was around. When Vinph confirmed that Captain wasn’t around, Vunph unfurled it’s plan. The plan to make sure Demyres do not work under Vatyres. Vinph ran out to the cave it’s clan was living in. It smiled. This is going to work.
Later that night…
Captain didn’t want to bother his kingdom, so this time he wanted to rid himself from this cruel world. He didn’t see what he should be here for. It was all going to end anyways. Vatyres only live for 1-3 years. It didn’t matter. ‘I don’t fit in this world anymore. I should make our specie REALLY extinct to fulfill the world’s beliefs. I don’t want to be different. I don’t want to pop out. I should go. Vatyres aren’t exactly immortal.’
Snap! Vinph appeared from the curtains.
“Vinph. You don’t want to work anymore do you?”
“Ne. See, don wah desy. Gah?” [no. yeah, I really don’t want to. why?]
“I see. Do you want me here at all?”
“Daw’rew fatew tre don.” [Doesn’t matter to me.]
“Hmm. Do you hate me?”
“… Watsi. Cratsu. Waka, hetelsaa.” […What. You’re crazy. Well, sometimes.]
“Tell me for most of the time, do you?”
“Falll…Dusa. Gra to hiti don?” [Ummm, yes. Are you going to kill me?]
“Heh. Heheheheh. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Okay, one more question. Can you rid me of this world?”
“Fallll… Watsi?! Daw tsu des don to?” [Ummm…What?! Do you want me to?]
“*Sigh* Yes.”
“Hito… Duga.” [Then… okay.]
“Go ahead, choose how to kill your prey.”
Vinph rubbed his hands. A Demyres appearance is like a human, but with porcelain white skin and magenta eyes, and they always wear a black cloak. Vinph’s skin cells began to fall from his rubbing of hands, and they formed a sword. It was a one time use sword. And it was powerful. Captain lay still on the cold marble floor of his grand hideout. He closed his eyes, silently happy, because he was going to join his loved one.
“Tsutsudasaka.” [Farewell.]
The wind was blowing hard onto Shirai’s face when he felt a pang of a friend dieing. He knew, that somewhere far far far away. Captain was lying and was dead. Captain couldn’t have survived alone for so long. He somehow knew it was Captain. An knocking on his door awakened him from his thoughts. He turned his chair to face the door.
“Who is it?”
“Iche don. Vinph,” [It’s me. Vinph.]
“Come in.”
Vinph came into Shirai’s room holding a lifeless Captain.
“What happened?”
“He asked me to kill him.” Vinph said harshly in Shirai’s language. When he spoke, it felt magical.
“So you killed him.”
“Yes. I did. Your stupid butler wouldn’t let me in because I was holding a dead Captain.”
“I’m sorry. What did he turn into?”
“A Vatyre.”
“But..”
“Yes. He summoned me. I was going to turn against him today. But there is no need anymore. So I brought him to you after his final wish.”
“Thank you. I shall prepare a funeral for him. You will be invited. Please speak like this in case people ask you questions.”
“Yes, Your Majesty.”
3 months later…
“We now mourn for Captain Stoloriantsu, former Prince of Mysterians. He died of Dehydration, infection from animal attack, and lack of food while getting lost in the woods. He was a loyal friend to our Majesty, and was a wonderful ruler. We pray…”
THE END
Word Count: 3008 Counting the THE END.
Word from Author:
December always seems so depressing. Maybe because December is the time of snow and it’s darker longer, so it’s more dangerous, and people die from accidents. Like car accidents. There has been two car crashes with people dieing already. I’m scared. Oh yeah, I think I have to go so, have a safe and Merry Christmas!
The Gramophone 8
“Are you awake, Your Majesty?” A voice called out to awaken Captain.
Captain shifted and turned his head, but the world was spinning wildly to him. He flopped back down.
He held his forehead up, and smiled ahead at the person he wasn’t sure if the person was a man or a woman.
“Your Majesty, please, do lay down. It was frightening just to see you lying there with a sword in your shoulder. Rest.” Oh. A man’s voice. Captain’s eyesight cleared up, and the voice belonged to a man with unbelievably long hair that was in a pony tail, and it reached the man’s thighs. But then, Captain’s hair wasn’t short either. His neon pink hair reached the middle of his torso.
Captain looked at his stinging left shoulder and grip tightly onto it and winced, as if trying to tame fire. His shoulder was bandaged up to stop the bleeding and medicine was added to heal it faster.
The man stood up from his chair and said, “Your Majesty, I’m sorry, I have forgotten to introduce myself. My name is Shirai. Shirai Lae at your service.” He got down on one knee and bowed.
Captain smiled from where he lied, and told him to get up immediately.
“Your Majesty, you might want to rest for a little longer. Supper will come after some time so, you might be bored. Umm… Oh, well, unless you’re into novels by Nojeol Joannee.” Shirai said while scratching the back of his head.
Captain sat up hearing his tutor’s name. “Nojeol has books he writes? Ah! Joannee is- excuse me, was my tutor. I’d gladly read them. I’m sorry for having to trouble you so much.”
“No worries. I’ll grab them. Hold on for a second.” Shirai jumped up and ran towards a tall bookshelf. He looked through each row and when it wasn’t there, he flipped a book over and it was the volume of Nojoel Joannee Series. He blew the dust off the the cover and smiled. He walked back and showed the book to Captain and explained the genre of the book, “He writes splendid mystery and tragedy romance novels. This is the series of a tragedy romance novel. Enjoy! I need to cook now. I’ll tell you when I’m done. ”
Captain sat back and began to read.
Shirai had just set the table and had put the dishes on the table when he remembered to call Captain up for supper.
“Your Majesty, it’s time for supper. Your Majesty? Are you awake?”
Shirai walked over to Captain and saw him sleeping there with the book open in his lap. Shirai shook his arm lightly and whispered, “Your Majesty? It’s supper time!”
Five tries later…
Captain shifted around and got up and found his bag of clothing, and changed his clothing to a black and gray suit and cloak in the washroom, and got back out, found his blood-covered sword. He cleaned it, swung it in the air, then unsheathed it. He sat down at the table and ate the supper half-heartily. All of a sudden, Captain stopped eating and slumped back down, and blinked.
“Your Majesty? Are you alright?” Shirai asked quietly.
Captain whipped his head around. He looked at Shirai with unnaturally bright silvery-white eyes.
“Hisss…. I’m fine. I need to get out for a bit. Unless… you want to join me for a long run.” Captain said, and he gave Shirai a creepy charming-ish smile. The smile showed his white teeth, well, it wasn’t white. His teeth was pure silver. Captain returned to his normal stoic expression, but the silver eyes were still there.
Captain stood up, he put on his cloak, slipped on his black silk boots, opened the door, and dashed out towards the snow. Shirai closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes and watched Captain run, his cloak flying with his hair wildly around him.
Shirai went to the washroom and looked at the mirror. His eyes were metallic purple. His eyes were bright like Captain’s eyes. Shirai made a connection to one of the novels Nojoel wrote. The tragical romance series. When the girl’s lover died, his eyes were glowing with a metallic colour. Shirai looked at the window in horror. Am I going to die? What? Noo!
Captain ran through the thick snow. The book… He saw the bright shining light from Shirai’s eyes. The book said, if a person has glowing and shining eyes, it means they will die soon. But it doesn’t mean it’s true. Found his horse miraculously, and the horse remembered him. He got onto the horse and rode it towards his winter palace. After 2 days of travel, he arrived at his winter palace. He led his horse into a indoor stall, and gave it some hay, and a blanket. Then he left, and went inside the palace. He found his room. Like every palace he had lived in, there was a gramophone in his room. And a balcony. His room was said to be the grandest of all royals.
Captain went to bed, and as normal people do, he woke up. He woke up to a banging on his balcony window on the door. He rubbed his eyes and saw Shirai bounded up by Lord Darcgoldy. He was pounding on the glass. He jumped up, and found his sword and he slid open the door.
“What in heavens are you doing? He saved me when I was planning on killing myself. He’s innocent, he just wanted to save his ruler. Or the heir of the ruler. Oh my saints.” Captain said. All of a sudden Shirai’s and Captain’s eyes began to flash the metallic colours. Viktor Darcgoldy laughed, but stopped when he saw the two’s eyes’ colours. He started to panic, but then, he let Shirai go, and he stared at Captain like he was a monster. In reality, yes, he was a monster. Only people who had royal blood would get crazy eye colours. Not the made-up reason by Nojoel Joannee. Royals were not normal. They had supernatural powers. They were like vampires, except they like to keep blood to it’s owners. They were fast, they could fly. But as generations went on, they decided to keep it a secret to the younger ones. And when they got older, and their parents thought they were capable of keeping a horrid secret, they would tell them.
Captain smiled the same creepy smile as he had that other day, except it was at Viktor.
Viktor staggered back and jumped off and out of the balcony, falling to his death. At least that was better than getting killed by a royal prince.
“Shirai, those eyes. I have read in a book in my father’s old study here, that if you have bright blazing metallic coloured eyes, it means you are a royal. You’re a royal?” Captain asked, his eyes shining brighter then ever.
“Uhm, yeah. But our kingdom was conquered. Our fortune was wasted by my father. I, at least was able to get money to live here for 2 decades alone here since I was 6. I still don’t know how to cut my hair in case I looked like a mess,” Shirai took a short breath, ” The kingdom was called Ik-Sawtackta. It was taken over by your people. I don’t mind. I can still live.” He smiled a small smile that didn’t have a meaning. He looked into the snowy distance, and tears slowly made it’s way down his cheek.
“Shirai, once I had a lover. But she died. She was killed by her father. Her father was Viktor Darcgoldy. I had just discovered my feelings for her when she died. when she died, I knew it was my fault. All along. I want you to live on. I have no heir, and my parents are not ruling the kingdom. Listen, I want you to rule the kingdom with your lover. I have decided I have nothing to live for. I want this kingdom to rule on. Will and can you do it?” Captain said.
Shirai looked at him in awe, and… disappointment.
“What, why? You’re going to die? I’m supposed to rule for you?” Shirai asked in disbelief.
“Yes. You have royal blood anyways. Oh right. A secret about all royalties. We can run with inhuman speed, and… we can fly. When we need to and want to fly, to need to think of a raven, and you’ll have black wings and you think of flying up, and towards your destination. Inhuman speed, well, you run to your fullest. I want you to rule. Yes, you got that part right. I’m going to die. Take care of the kingdom.” Captain whispered to him, in case servants were still in the winter palace. He gave Shirai a medallion that was made of silver and bronze. The flag of Mystrietian was printed on the back in metallic colours.
Captain showed Shirai the rooms, and the floor plans of the palaces. He showed him how to fight with a sword. They did that together for 3 days, when Captain announced, “I’m going to run away instead of killing myself. I will come back everyday to visit at night and teach you about the kingdom. And I will teach you calligraphy. I will teach you everything a prince needs to know. I’m going to have to go. The servants are being taught by the butler right now. The butler will come at night to tend to your needs. And in the morning. The butler knows about me. I’m gonna go. See you.” Captain waved at the now cloaked man, and dashed, again, into the blinding light of the snow.
Word Count: 1662
Hi. Yeah, it’s long. Like Shirai’s hair. *thumbs up* It was supposed to be the end, but it would’ve been superbly looooooong, so I didn’t. It’s still pretty long. Ehhh, whatever. 9 will be coming up! See ya!
The Gramophone 7
Captain ushered his parents, Ray, and his butler; Starrae on and into the carriage. Before departing, Captain grabbed his butler over, “Starrae… Keep my parents alive. Well and healthy. I may not be back. Please, take care of them. Hide them away. Disguise them. We are running away.” Captain was staring at Starrae with pleading eyes.
“Of course, Your Majesty. I will make sure. You be careful too. We will all miss you. If you… Never mind. Yes sir! Goodbye.” Starrae saluted and got into the carriage.
Farewell, dearest. I may not be able to make it far. Sharil, I might be joining you soon. See you.
Captain wiped a unnoticed tear away as soon the carriage was out of sight. And once he couldn’t see the carriage, he heard the thundering of horses clopping down onto the small trail. He looked, and saw Lord Darcgoldy leading the horses. Captain mounted his horse and took off, trying to get the Lord’s many men, off his tail. He whizzed by the many shops of his kingdom. The people praised him, but their happiness was interrupted by the nervous, yet still handsome, prince’s silence. He was taking the horse to it’s limit, but the horse knew it’s job. It couldn’t fail him.
Captain reached a green meadow when the horse collapsed. “Your Majesty! Come in here! I’ll hide you!” An elderly lady that lived on the side of the meadow called out. Captain heaved the horse to the back of house. Captain rushed into the lady’s house.
“M’lady, thank you very much. Will this cover for 2 days before I run again?” Captain bowed down onto his knee before standing back up.
The old lady looked at Captain as if he was insane. “Your Majesty! That is too much! Please! It’s good and lucky enough you’re here! Your Majesty, THANK YOU!”
Captain changed into blue and black suit, and a black cloak.
BANG BANG BANG!
“Fair lady of this house! We’re searching for the Prince and His Family! Is he with you, in any chance?”
“Sirs! No, he is not here with me! He ran past my house towards and into the trees!”
“Miss, we need you to open up, so we know you’re not lying. We need to check your house. Open up!”
Minutes past and she did not open the door.
Then the door fell over with a crash.
Captain was tending to the horse when they arrived. His sapphire and silver sword sparkled up and reflected off the light. The soldiers saw and ran over.
“M’lord! We’ve found him!” The soldiers shouted.
Captain looked up and saw soldiers piling in from the sides.
Captain jumped down from his position and unsheathed his sword. Captain slashed like he did in war. He stabbed and swiped at the soldiers. Lord Darcgoldy walked up on him and held his blade high above his head and- the lady pushed him over. “Viktor! Why on earth are you trying to kill our dear prince?! Why?! I’m so disappointed in you!” The lady clapped her hands onto her face and cried.
“Mother! You’re still alive? So that means you faked your death!”
Viktor Darcgoldy’s mother was the old lady.
She glowered and grumbled out,”Viktor! I faked my death because of your resemblance to your father. You were so… COLD-HEARTED! So cruel…” She shook her head in dismay.
Captain fought off 20 of the many soldiers when he tired down. 20 were left and they formed a circle around him closing down on him. He thrashed out of their grip, and once he did, three buff soldiers grabbed him pinned him against the wall for their lord to torture.
“Viktor! I’m… I tried to protect-! Argh! *gurgling sounds*” Thump! Viktor killed his mother with a slash of his blade without even looking.
“Vik..tor… you…” His mother fell down and died in four seconds.
“LORD DARCGOLDY! GO AHEAD AND TRY TO KILL ME! I CAN FIGHT YOU OFF! Just you see…” Captain cried through gritted teeth. Viktor walked slowly towards him. Captain struggled about with the men still holding on. ‘What? How come I can’t move? ARGHH!’ Captain thought. Viktor picked up Captain’s sword, and flipped it around, examining it. He gave Captain a coy smirk. Captain growled in return. At the last second, Captain flipped out of the men’ grasp. He took out his pocket dagger and stabbed the men, leaving Viktor Darcgoldy.
Captain stepped slowly, like a predator to it’s prey, Captain dashed forward and tried to stab Viktor but Viktor stabbed him first.
With his sword still in his shoulder, blood dribbled out of the corner of his mouth. He fell back and blacked out. The last Captain saw was the triumph smirk from Viktor as he rode off.
Hello! I think I took too long. It’s been a little hard on me, school. Tests aren’t really important, but, tomorrow is the day I get my report card. I’m a little nervous about the grades I’ll get this term. Well, I think there will be only one more section of the Gramophone. So, it’ll probably end as the 8.
The Gramophone 6
“Uhm, Sharil? Isn’t it time to go back to my palace? We need food. I can’t stand it any longer!!! Argh!” Captain cried in frustration. Sharil shot him a dirty look.
“Just what are you thinking? We’ll be caught! Hear that? They’re coming this way! Run out there!” Sharil pointed at Darcgoldy’s garden.
“What about you?” Captain asked with his eyes staring back at her filled with worry.
Sharil smiled slightly, “I don’t know. If I can follow fast enough then I’ll be back alive. I really don’t know. Now go!”
Captain dashed out with almost inhuman speed. Captain ran with tears unknowingly sliding from his eyes. He looked back just once. And there was guards crowding over Sharil. He kept running, and the next thing he heard was a loud shout and there was clanging and a girly scream. Captain didn’t dare to look. He climbed over the wall of bushes. He sat on it for a second breathed in, and jumped off, and took off for his palace.
Captain propped his head up with his hand. His brain flashed out memories from the previous night. It was all his fault and he knew it. ‘Have I developed feelings for the athletic girl? Why don’t I know the answer to that? Ugh. ARGH.’ He sat back on his chair and sighed again.
A month passed and Captain still didn’t know if Sharil turned out alive. She better be alive. Captain looked out the window. Snow had just begun to fall, but he felt no excitement. In his younger years, he would run and jump about over snow. Snow meant Christmas. Christmas meant… Captain couldn’t think about anything straight without relating it to Sharil.
From then on, waiting seemed like forever. He still haven’t gotten anything about Sharil in days. Those days turned into weeks, and those weeks turned into months.2 months later… “Your Majesty, the queen has news about Sharil.” Captain’s butler said.
Captain jumped up. “What?! I’m coming immediately!”
Captain dashed down the stairs and found his mother and sat down beside her. The Queen looked very shaken. “What? What does it say? What happened?”
“I’m sorry. Sharil… She’s gone… The funeral… February 17th… I’m so sorry…” The Queen broke down. And so did Captain. And the two wept the rest of the afternoon.
It was a dark and cool night. No one was out except Captain. His neon hair flew about around his head. Captain was remembering all the things at last. He went into his room and turned the gramophone on. The last melodies filled the room. He knew there was no reason anymore. He went to bed, and he knew that the next morning Darcgoldy will come to the palace to hunt him down.
The next morning when his butler went to wake Captain, he heard the gramophone. He opened the door. The gramophone was on, the windows were open, the fancy clothes from Captain’s closet were taken, and nobody was in bed. His butler fled down the grand staircase and burst into the breakfast hall. “Your Majesty! Captain-!”
Captain was in his purple cloak and his white and gold suit. He looked dangerous, he was holding his silver and sapphire sword at his butler’s throat. “Say another word and say hello to the sword. Now, dear family. You may think I’ve gone insane but, my life is worthless without Sharil, you know. I’ve come out of my shell to late. It was my fault. You don’t need to know. Get away from this place. Darcgoldy is coming here to hunt me down because he wants all of my men. Now get in the carriages! Go now!” Captain gave a faint smile.
YOLO! I’m thinking of ending The Gramophone soon. Eh. I don’t even know anymore. Anyways, I’m gonna go. So, adieu~!
